Robin Jellis has been playing cello for more than 30 years. She has been singing from childhood. She has a degree in music form the USM and teaching certificates from Harford College and Ithaka College. She teaches cello. Robin has a beautiful range of voice. Robin will lead chorus. |

Satya Franche |
Satya Franche began her singing career as a child in Montreal eventually earning two degrees in music, from Grant MacEwan, Edmonton, Alberta, and Berklee College of Music, Boston, Mass. She has worked extensively both in live performance and in the studio. In the 80's, she recorded a pop album entitled "As We Were" with her group, So Sudden. Her kirtan journey began in 2006, when she formedSatya Franche & Ma Kirtan, inspired by her mentor Krishna Das and the guidance of her Satguru, Sri Neem Karoli, and his great disciple, SiddhiMa. Satya has recorded and performed with many of today’s kirtan leaders. She has toured in India, Canada and the Northeastern States with the late Ma Chetan Jyoti, one of kirtan's great voices. Currently, Satya leads kirtan throughout the Eastern seaboard. Satya’s debut kirtan CD was released in 2009 entitled "Love is in the Name" and she is currently working on her second one entitled "Faith in Hand" due to be released soon. |

He performs throughout the New England area with his six-string acoustic guitar : Jazz Standards, 60s - 70s Popular Songs, Instrumentals, Originals, Classical Guitar Pieces, and songs from Musicals, Operas, and Foreign Cultures. |

Maria Wagner |
Maria Wagner has a varied career as a performer and private music instructor in Portland, Maine. She began as a classically trained clarinetist, went on to earn her Masters in music performance from the University of Southern Maine and continues to perform freelance across the state in a variety of groups and orchestras. In 2010 Maria began the study and performance of classical and folk music from the Middle East, and was a founding member of Zapion(2010 - 2020), in which she played the clarinet and the Arabic nay. She maintains a vibrant private teaching studio for clarinet and nay based in Portland and is also on the applied music faculty of Bates College. Maria's deepest love is her practice of Bhakti yoga. Peggy Smith |
Peggy Smith is a certified trainer with the International Center for Nonviolent Communication, with over four decades of teaching experience. She is at the forefront of bringing empathic thinking and communicating to our region. Peggy holds a M.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and was a teacher in public and alternative schools for 32 years before devoting her full time energies to this endeavor. She offers trainings in a wide variety of venues. She has posted online a Courageous Communication curriculum developed over five years with men coming out of incarceration. She is a co-founder of the Maine NVC Network and leads their monthly newsletter team. Peggy has done international NVC work through Seeds of Peace International Camp, working with educators from the Middle East and South Asia both in Maine and in the region. A student of Mindfulness since 1991, Peggy has been ordained as a teacher by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh. She has a passion for helping everyone develop their innate capacity for empathy by integrating mindfulness into how we think and communicate. Peggy enjoys designing and implementing programs that support empathic thinking and communicating as part of systemic culture change. |

Khenmo Konchog Nyima Drolma |
Abbess of Vajra Dakini Nunnery, Khenmo Konchog Nyima Drolma has studied with the foremost spiritual teachers of our time including H.H. Dalai Lama, H.H. Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche (the head of the Drikung Kagyu Lineage) and Ani Pema Chodron. After her novice ordination by Drikung Kyabgon in 1997, she received training at Gampo Abbey guided by Ven. Pema Chödrön, and attended their shedra (philosophy College). In 2002 she took full ordination as a Buddhist nun in Taiwan. In 2004 she was installed as a Khenmo (Abbot) in the Drikung lineage, becoming the first woman and first westerner in her lineage to officially hold this responsibility. She teaches the Dharma internationally. Her current responsibilities, in addition to Vajra Dakini Nunnery, include the Tibetan/Himalayan Nuns Leadership Program and she chairs the international committee for the 2020 Shravasti Rains Retreat. |
